Web browsers store temporary data from websites to help pages load faster when you revisit them. However, over time, this stored data can take up space and cause browsing issues. Clearing your cache and cookies can often resolve these problems.
Follow the steps below based on your browser and device:
Google Chrome
Mac and Windows:
Open Chrome.
Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
Select Clear browsing data.
Choose a time range (e.g., Last hour, All time).
Select the types of data to delete.
Click Clear data.
iPhone and iPad:
Open the Chrome app.
Tap the three-dot menu and select Clear Browsing Data.
Choose the data types to remove.
Tap Clear Browsing Data, then tap Done.
Android Phone and Tablet:
Open Chrome.
Tap the three-dot menu and select Clear browsing data.
Choose a time range, then tap Clear data.
To delete specific types of data, tap More options, select what to remove, and tap Clear data.
Safari
Mac:
Open Safari.
Click History in the top menu bar.
Select Clear History and choose a time range.
Click Clear History.
iPhone and iPad:
Open Settings and select Safari.
Tap Clear History and Website Data.
Choose a time frame and confirm by tapping Clear History.
Firefox
Mac and Windows:
Open Firefox and click the menu button.
Select History, then click Clear Recent History.
Choose a time range from the dropdown menu.
Select Cache (and any other data you want to delete).
Click Clear Now.
